Biography
Tomas joined 3i in 2004 and is now responsible for our Healthcare sector team.
The key deals Tomas has been closely involved in include Alpharma (today Axellia), Lekolar, Boxer, Carema & Mehiläinen (today Ambea Group) and Damcos and he is a member of the Board of Directors of Ambea, Axellia and Lekolar.
Tomas started his career with ABB, holding several senior positions, the final one being vice president for industrial gas turbines and plants. After ABB, Tomas joined Bain & Company, working in a wide range of international and Swedish industries. His experience includes corporate strategy, operational improvements, geographic expansion and due diligence.
Tomas holds an MBA from IMD, Lausanne, an MSc from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg and also an MSc in Computer Aided Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
