Biography
Tom joined 3i in June 2004. Prior to joining 3i, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, latterly in their Business Recovery Services division. He specialises in buyout investments in the UK and continental Europe. Recent deals in which Tom has been involved include the £555m acquisition of NCP, the UK's leading parking services operator, the £135m public to private of Chorion plc, the owner of brands such as Noddy, the Mr Men and Agatha Christie, and the €1.8bn sale of Yellow Brick Road, the pan-European telephone directories business. Tom is a member of the board of directors of Chorion, has a First Class honours degree in Modern History from University College, Oxford and is a member of the ICAEW.
