Tom joined 3i in June 2004.  Prior to joining 3i, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London, latterly in their Business Recovery Services division. He specialises in buyout investments in the UK and continental Europe and has been involved in a number of deals, including the £555m acquisition of NCP (the UK's leading parking services operator) and its subsequent £790m sale to Macquarie, and the €1.8bn sale of Yellow Brick Road, the pan-European telephone directories business. Tom is a member of the board of directors of Agent Provocateur, has a First Class honours degree in Modern History from University College, Oxford and is a member of the ICAEW.
