Biography

Ulrich joined 3i in 2007 and focuses on European and international buyout transactions in the automotive, general industrial and consumer goods sector. Furthermore he is focussed on establishing a systematic approach to creating value in portfolio companies.

Before joining 3i, he worked for four years with The Boston Consulting Group in Duesseldorf and Munich. During this period he worked on globalisation strategies, portfolio optimisation as well as performance improvement projects in the automotive, industrial goods and consumer goods sector. Ulrich received an M.Sc. (Civil Engineering) from TU Karlsruhe and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
