Vaibhav joined the 3i North America team in 2011. Prior to joining 3i, Vaibhav was an analyst at Lazard Frères & Co. where he focused on mergers and acquisitions in the Telecom, Media and Technology sectors. While at Lazard Vaibhav worked on Qwest’s $22 billion sale to CenturyLink which created the third largest telecommunications company in the United States.

Vaibhav graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania where he was a Benjamin Franklin Scholar, Joseph Wharton Scholar and Wharton Research Scholar.
