Biography

Valero started his career with 3i in 2008. Based in Madrid, he focuses on buyouts across the Iberian region.

Prior to joining 3i, Valero worked at the Investment Banking division of Goldman Sachs both in Europe and USA, being involved on projects within the industrial, consumer and leisure sectors. Previously, he worked at Acciona Group (infrastructure and business services company) in Spain and Hong Kong.

Valero completed an MBA from Columbia University after receiving a full scholarship from the Foundation Rafael del Pino. He also holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Granada and received a grant to study one year at the University of California.
