Biography

Xavier has been an Investment director at 3i since 2000. He started his career in 1995 as a financial controller for Trouvay Cauvin Ltd. He then joined Arthur Andersen in corporate recovery services in 1996. Xavier originally joined 3i's Portfolio Development team where he was involved in the management of underperforming investments, exit processes and post acquisition action plans. He focused on Media, Retail, IT services and the food & drink sectors. He joined the buyouts team as an Investment Director in October 2003 and specializes in Media / Telecom.Xavier was in charge of SIA, a home decoration products supplier. He was sitting on the boards of SIA, Aura, an IT services company and Mediapublication, a magazine publisher. He currently represents 3i at Libération, the French national newspaper, and Mediaperformance, an in-store marketing company. He is also a fellow of Dauphine University and a fellow of Arthur Andersen.Xavier has a post-graduate degree in Corporate Finance and Financial Strategy from University of Paris Dauphine and a Master's degree in Corporate and Tax Law from the University of Paris Assas. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
