Xuan Yong joined 3i in 2010. He started his career with Merrill Lynch IBK in Singapore before moving to the Global Private Equity (ML GPE) team in Hong Kong. Prior to joining 3i, Xuan Yong worked with global hedge funds Strategic Value Partners and Broad Peak Investment Advisers, focusing on pan-Asia investments.

Xuan Yong received a B.A. with Distinction in all subjects from Cornell University majoring in Economics, Computer Science and College Scholar Program in 2003. He holds the CFA and FRM charters and is a member of the CFA Institute and Global Association of Risk Professionals.
