SLR has won the 'best management team' award at the Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 awards, 2009. The award was presented to David Richards and Neil Penhall, chief executive and UK managing director of 3i-backed SLR.

The awards dinner was held in London on 17 March in recognition of the Sunday Times Buyout Track 100 list, which ranked SLR at 56, up from 64 in 2008. SLR's profits have grown by almost 45% a year since 2006.

The annual Buyout Track 100 league table ranks Britain's 100 private equity-backed companies with the fastest growing profits measured over the latest two years of available figures.
