Resource constraints mean that owners of oil and gas fields are increasingly focused on larger projects with thousands of existing smaller or mature fields potentially being overlooked. Delta offers owners a low-risk way to boost production from such fields by supplying the necessary capital, project management and execution skills.

In effect, the asset owners will outsource the development of their mature fields to Delta and benefit from increased production. In return, Delta receives a share of the additional revenue generated by enhancing production.

Delta Hydrocarbons is headquartered in The Netherlands and has been founded by a highly experienced management team, led by Walter van de Vijver, former CEO of Shell Exploration and Production, and Maarten Scholten, previously the head of Schlumberger’s Mergers and Acquisitions team. It also includes Jeri Eagen as CFO and Frederik Rijkens as Project Director.
