Digital Imaging Systems (DIS), a spin out from the publicly listed German semiconductor company Dialog Semiconductor, is focusing on miniature camera modules with digital still camera (DSC) quality. Targeting high-end mobile phones, its products incorporate classical DSC features such as resolution of >5 megapixel, mechanical shutter and optical zoom whilst minimizing form factor and power consumption and, thus, enabling straightforward design-ins in mobiles.

Pursuing the business model of system designer and provider, DIS has been able to attract world-class component suppliers and manufacturing partners. DIS being led by a highly experienced management team with an impressive track-record in the electronics and mobile industry.
