Mémora is the leading Spanish group in funeral services, and cementaries management. In 2007 they carried out more than 45,000 funeral services 13,000 cremations and more than 38,000 families used their funeral parlours in Spain and Portugal. It has presence in most of the Spanish territory through a national structure that works at a local level. The group manages 96 funeral parlours, 16 crematories and 25 cementaries.

Mémora was founded in 2001 through the acquisition of the Spanish and Portuguese business that belogend to the American Groups SCI and Eurosteward, two of the most important international funeral services companies. Since then it has acquired more than 15 funeral services assets in both countries. The company plans to invest more than €10m in order to open 20 new parlours in 2009.
