NordNav is leading the development of software based satellite receivers for GPS and Galileo navigation.
NordNavs solutions enable customers to shorten time to market and integrate high performance satellite receivers at a significantly reduced cost. The software based receivers are completely upgradeable and can take advantage new developments in the GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) space. NordNav was founded in 2002 by researchers from Stanford University and Luleå University of Technology in Sweden. The founders of the company have extensive expertise within GPS, satellite navigation and real-time Software Defined Radio (SDR) technology.
In January 2001 the group presented the world's first fully real-time software GPS receiver at the ION-NTM 2001 in Long Beach, CA, USA. NordNav has a top-tier customer base in the Mobile, Automotive and Defense industries.
