Nature of Business

Osprey is the owner of AWG, the principal business of which is the water and waste water company Anglian Water. Anglian Water is the fourth largest water supply and waste water company in England and Wales, measured by regulatory capital value, and is regulated by Ofwat. 3i Infrastructure Ltd owns c. 9 per cent, and 3i Group a further c. 2.7 per cent, of Osprey which was originally set up in 2006 by a consortium of investors for the purpose of acquiring AWG.

Anglian Water has twice come top in regulator OFWAT’s annual league table, scoring points for performance measures including reliability and and responsiveness.
