Travelex’s variety of consumer and business services, together with its rapid growth and entrepreneurial culture, have allowed it to emerge as the world-leading company in its field. The company operates across four core businesses.

CFX is the world’s largest non-bank provider of cross-border payment services. This is a high-growth business that continues to gain market share at the expense of commercial banks. It has over 15,500 corporate customers, mainly SMEs.

The outsourcing business is the world’s largest and most automated provider of outsourced foreign banknotes and travellers’ cheques to financial institutions and travel agencies.

Its travel money business is the world’s largest retail FX specialist, with over 700 retail branches in airports, seaports and city centres. It completed over 29 million transactions in 2004.

The fourth division, TRS, includes a travel insurance brokerage business in the US, a call centre business and a small travel agency business in South East Asia.
