UbiNetics provided 2G, 2.5G, 3G and HSDPA (high speed downlink packet access) protocol software and physical layer IP to 3G chipset and handset manufacturers.

The company also supplied specialised tools for testing 3G networks. The TM500 Test Mobile helps infrastructure vendors and operators test HSDPA mobile networks, helping them to identify problems through its powerful range of logging and debug features.

Complementing the TM500, UbiNetics’ System AT test system helps to assess the performance of WCDMA networks using commercial mobiles, including the ability to simulate real-world conditions in a lab. In this way, network operators are able to identify weaknesses and resolve issues before any commercial rollout.
