Global Entrepolis@Singapore winner! 3i portfolio company UFO Moviez has won the prestigious Global Entrepolis@ Singapore award. The GES award was one of the key Asian Innovation Awards, in conjunction with Wall Street Journal Asia, presented in November 2007.

 

The award is presented by the judges to the company which shows innovation in technology as well as business performance and the potential to become a market leader.

 

UFO Moviez has developed its own proprietary software for digitizing and encrypting films which are beamed by satellite to specially equipped theaters, significantly reducing piracy.
