Founded in 2000, Vedici is one of the main players in private acute care in France. With a staff of 3,350, Vedici runs 2,650 beds in 23 care facilities which are located along a line stretching from Paris to southern / south-western France.

Annual turnover grew from €65 million to €280 million in four years (as at December 2009).

3i together with NI Partners invested in Vedici in May 2010.

The investment will strengthen Vedici’s balance sheet and support organic and external growth opportunities. 3i will leverage its considerable experience and extensive global network in the healthcare sector to support Vedici’s next phase of development. 3i Business Leaders Network will help reinforce the management team. Working with management, 3i and NI Partners will aim to provide the business with additional resources to accelerate its growth strategy, as it aims to double its size over the coming years.
