In 2007 we recruited a number of talented people, enabling us to build on our sector-driven capabilities and existing geographic footprint.

Bruno Deschamps has joined us from Clayton, Dubilier & Rice where he had been Operating Partner since 2002. He will lead the French team as Partner and Managing Director of 3i France. Blair McCallum joined 3i in October 2007 from McKinsey & Company as Partner responsible for active partnership within 3i's portfolio and Cedric Bannel joined 3i France in September 2007 as Partner.

We have also recruited a number of new directors and associates from more than seven nationalities, including Poland and Hungary, with wide-ranging experience across our eight key sectors: Business Services; Consumer; Financial Services; General Industrial; Healthcare; Media; Oil, Gas and Power; and Technology.
