Tomas Ekman is Managing Director in the Nordic region while also having a strong affiliation to the Healthcare sector.

Key investments that he has worked on over the years include Vedici, Xellia, Lekolar, Carema and Mehiläinen (today Ambea Group), Boxer and Damcos. Tomas is a Non- Executive Director of Xellia.

Tomas began his career at ABB Stal, Holding several senior management posts and rising to Vice President for industrial gas turbines and plant. After ABB, Tomas joined Bain & Company, advising a broad spectrum of international and Swedish industries.

He has an MBA from IMD in Lausanne, an MSc in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg and an MSc in Computer Aided Engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
