Mike Zappert joined 3i in 2006. He originates, evaluates and executes growth equity investments in the areas of the Internet, digital media and advertising. Mike helped to lead 3i's investments in Demand Media and was extensively involved in the sale of 3i portfolio companies BlueLithium to Yahoo! and Speakeasy to Best Buy.
Prior to joining 3i, Mike worked in the Technology Group at Credit Suisse based in Palo Alto, CA. During his time at Credit Suisse, Mike worked on private placement, public equity, debt, LBO and M&A transactions for Internet, software, mobile, and communications companies.
Mike graduated from Stanford University with a B.A. in Economics with Honors and Phi Beta Kappa. He also has an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University.
