Sundip is a Principal based in New York. Prior to joining 3i, Sundip was a founding member and Senior Vice President of the US buyout consumer/retail practice of The Carlyle Group. At Carlyle, Sundip held key governance and investment roles for the Dunkin’ Brands, OTC and philosophy transactions. Previously, Sundip worked at Ripplewood Holdings focusing on US and Japanese buyouts in the industrials, financials and telecom sectors. Sundip began his career in the investment banking and principal investment groups of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York and London, respectively. He has also worked at McKinsey & Co. as a strategy consultant.
Sundip graduated with distinction from Cornell University and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He has sat on a number of corporate Boards and is currently a Director of Phibro. Sundip also remains active in philanthropic activities and is on the Boards of Youth, I.N.C. (Improving Non-Profits for Children) and the New York Private Equity Network.
