    Responsible for 3i’s legal, compliance, internal audit, human resources and company secretarial functions. A member of the Executive Committee since joining 3i in 2007.

    Prior to joining 3i, was a Senior Managing Director, running GE’s European Leveraged Finance business after serving as European General Counsel for GE. Prior to GE, was a partner at the law firms Travers Smith and Latham & Watkins.

    Jennifer is the Partner heading the Fund Investor Relations team.

    Prior to this, Jennifer was a Partner in the UK Buyouts team and Head of Consumer in the UK. Since joining 3i in June 2005 she co-led 3i’s investment in Mayborn and co-led the take privates of Telecity Group and Redbus to create TelecityRedbus.  In November 2007 she was responsible for 3i’s investment in Agent Provocateur.

    Prior to joining 3i, Jennifer spent nine years at Terra Firma Capital Partners and Nomura’s Principal Finance Group (PFG), where she was Managing Director. In addition to numerous portfolio responsibilities, major deals that she led there include the privatisation of Angel Train Contracts and the acquisition of Inn Partnership. Jennifer started her career as a solicitor for Allen, Allen & Hemsley in Sydney and London.

    Jennifer holds a BA degree and LLB from the University of Sydney. She is Co-Founder and Chair of Level 20, an initiative to support women in private equity, and a Trustee of The Fred Hollows Foundation (UK).

    Pablo Echart is a Director leading 3i Spain.

    He is experienced in Industrial sector investments, focusing on the operational improvement of portfolio companies, with particular expertise in lean and process optimisation. He has worked with several portfolio companies around the world, including Mémora Inversiones Funerarias and GES where he sits on the Board.

    Prior to joining 3i, Pablo was part of the leadership of McKinsey’s operations practice in Europe, specialising in company transformations across various sectors. Before joining McKinsey, Pablo worked at Arthur Andersen as an Auditor and Business Improvement Consultant.

    Pablo has a Masters in Business Administration from UCLA Anderson, holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Business Studies from Sheffield Hallam University and has a Masters Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Navarra.

    Matt is an Associate Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in London and joined in January 2017. He is primarily responsible for the asset management of infrastructure and energy projects in the UK and continental Europe. Matt also leads on a number of value enhancement strategies as well as evaluating and executing selected investment opportunities.

    Previously Matt was an Investment Director at Innisfree Limited where he was responsible for asset management of operational infrastructure projects and led on a number of secondary PPP acquisitions.

    Matt holds a first class honours degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Nottingham and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

    Thomas is Investor Relations Director for 3i Group’s Infrastructure business and joined in February 2016. He is responsible for interacting with the limited partners and public shareholders across 3i Group’s infrastructure funds as well as managing any new fundraising and co-investment opportunities.

    Prior to joining 3i, Thomas worked in the private placement team at HSBC, where he advised General Partners on fundraising in Europe and Asia. Thomas started his career at Lehman Brothers where he focused on private placements and fundraising for alternative investment funds.

    Thomas holds a Master in Finance and Business Administration from HEC, Paris.

    Alan joined 3i in 2005 and is Managing Partner, co-Head of Private Equity and a member of 3i’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee, having previously been Global Sector Head for Business & Technology Services.

    Prior to joining 3i he spent 13 years in investment banking, latterly as Managing Director at Societe Generale, where he was Global Head of Transport & Business Services, advising a range of quoted and private equity owned businesses. Alan started his career as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, and has a degree in Economics from Durham University.

    Since joining 3i Alan has led a number of transactions across the Business & Technology Services and Consumer sectors including the Buyouts of Audley Travel, Mayborn, Element Materials Technology, JMJ Associates and Inspicio Group. He currently sits on the Boards of JMJ Associates and Audley Travel.

    Andreas joined 3i in 2007 and is an Associate Director in the Frankfurt office.

    His key investments include: NORMA Group and add-on investment into R.G.Ray, forming a leader in engineered joining technology as well as its IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange; Amor, the German market leader for affordable precious jewellery; Christ, a leading retailer for jewellery and watches in Germany; and Scandlines, one of Europe’s largest ferry operators. He is currently a Board member of Scandlines.

    Before joining 3i, Andreas worked in investment banking, M&A transactions and asset management with Sal. Oppenheim and UBS. Andreas holds an MSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School in London.

    Rowena joined 3i in 2007 and is based in London, focusing on originating, executing and representing 3i on the Boards of Private Equity investments. She has been involved in 3i's investments in Audley Travel, Aspen Pumps and Phibro Animal Health, and the sale of Centrul Medical Unirea to Advent International. Rowena currently sits on the Board of Audley Travel.

    Previously, Rowena worked for venture capital firm Scottish Equity Partners in London, and for boutique funds management group Quest Asset Partners in Sydney.

    Rowena holds a Bachelor of Advanced Science/Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and spent one year of her degree on exchange at Royal Holloway, University of London.

    Stéphane is a Partner in 3i's Infrastructure team in Paris and joined 3i in November 2013, following 3i’s acquisition of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Limited. He joined BIFM in 2006.

    Stéphane leads 3i’s Infrastructure team in Paris, as well as oversees the origination effort and supervises a pipeline of investment opportunities across Europe.

    Previously, Stéphane was head of Egis Investment Partners. He graduated as a civil engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole National des Ponts-et-Chaussées.

    Anjali joined 3i in 2007 from ICICI Bank where she was part of the project finance group, heading the Transportation sub-group. She brings 23 years of experience having worked in the areas of project financing, debt and equity syndication, restructuring and investment banking in her prior assignments at ICICI Bank, Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd., KPMG and SBI Capital Markets.

    She holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors Degree in Science from Gujarat University.

    As Director of Fund Management, Neil has been closely involved in numerous 3i fundraisings since 1994, most recently in 3i Eurofund V (€5bn, 2006), 3i India Infrastructure ($1.2bn, 2007) and the 3i Growth Capital Fund (€1.2bn, 2010). He has also been involved in several co-investments by third party investors alongside 3i in Private Equity portfolio companies including Formel D, Weener Plastics, Action, Hilite International and Ambea.

    Neil also has responsibility for ensuring that investors in 3i's Private Equity funds receive top quality service when it comes to reports on the progress of the funds they are invested in, as well as information on 3i more generally.

    Neil originally joined 3i in 1987 in an investment team based in London focused on larger buyouts. During those initial years, he worked as part of a team on a number of 3i's larger buyouts, including Compass Group, Associated Fresh Foods and Zotefoams.  Prior to joining 3i, Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, having taken an honours degree in Mathematics and Economics at Cambridge University.

    Neil is a member of the Professional Standards Committee of Invest Europe, and is Vice Chair of the Invest Europe Working Group on Accounting Standards, Valuation and Reporting, which played a key role in the update of Invest Europe's Reporting Guidelines in 2015. He is Invest Europe’s representative on the International Private Equity & Venture Capital Valuations Guidelines (‘IPEV’) Board.

    James joined 3i in 2017. He is responsible for 3i’s Group Strategy and is a member of the Investment Committee.

    Prior to joining 3i, James was Chief Operating Officer of KKR in Europe and, before that, Co-CEO of Avoca Capital.  Earlier in his career, James was a corporate finance professional for 20 years, holding various roles at Freeman & Co., Greenhill & Co. and Schroders.  He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992.

    James is also the Senior Independent Director of Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 

    He holds a First Class Joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Surrey.

    Jaime joined 3i in 2017 as Senior Adviser, Infrastructure, and holds board positions at a number of Spanish concession companies.  Previously, he was Partner at EISER Infrastructure, an independent infrastructure fund manager (originally part of ABN Amro) where, since 2006, he was involved in origination and asset management in a wide range of sectors across Europe including energy, transport and oil storage.  Prior to that Jaime worked for English merchant bank Schroders and, after its acquisition by Salomon Smith Barney, Citigroup covering a wide range of products in the infrastructure sector, from project financings (e.g. PPPs), restructurings and refinancings to privatisations and private M&A (including acquisition financing), mostly acting as an advisor.

    Jaime has an MBA from IESE (Barcelona, Spain) and an aeronautical engineering degree from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid.
