Gianmarco joined 3i in 2023 to focus on healthcare origination activities across Europe and North America, as well as thesis development and industry network development.

Prior to joining 3i, Gianmarco was the Functional CFO of Technology at Hoffmann-La Roche, where he focused on multi-billion-dollar technology investments every year. In this role, he was also part of the leadership team driving the organization’s digital transformation journey. He previously served as a Finance Manager at Syngenta across R&D, Commercial, and Supply Chain divisions, where he was involved in various business transformations and acquisitions.

Gianmarco holds an Executive MBA from London Business School. He also earned degrees from Grenoble Graduate School of Business in Management, the University of Malta in International Studies, and Sapienza University of Rome in Social Sciences.
