In October 2026, over 40 CEOs and Chairs from across our Private Equity and Infrastructure portfolio companies joined us in Geneva for our 3i CEO & Chair Forum.

It was a fantastic opportunity to bring together leaders from across our businesses to share experiences, exchange ideas and learn from one another.

The discussions focused on leading through change, making difficult decisions and building stronger businesses. Professor Martin Gutmann shared his insights on leadership in uncertain times, while our CEOs and Chairs brought these themes to life with their own experiences of navigating disruption, adapting strategy, learning from setbacks and delivering successful exits.

Professor Kathleen O’Connor of London Business School also led a lively, interactive session on handling difficult conversations at the top.

As always, some of the most valuable conversations happened outside the formal sessions, with plenty of opportunities to reconnect, build new relationships and learn from others across the 3i network.
