3i has won Secondaries Deal of the Year in Europe at the PEI Awards 2020 for its Action single-asset transaction. The deal achieved a gross multiple of 31x for exiting LPs.

MPM included in the 12th annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table

The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies with the fastest-growing international sales, measured over their latest two years of available accounts. MPM was ranked 170th with average two year international sales growth of 23.41% p.a.

3i has won Mid-Market Exit of the Year at the Unquote British Private Equity Awards 2020 for its sale of Aspen Pumps.

The award recognises successful deal origination, execution, portfolio management and exit for investments with an enterprise value at entry of between £50-500M.

3i wins Private Equity International’s “Exit of the Year in Europe” award for Scandlines

The Private Equity International annual awards are voted for by readers and recognise the firms, deals and advisors that shaped the industry in 2018. The judges highlighted the 7x return 3i made on its investment in Scandlines, along with the company’s transformation during 3i’s ownership from a state-owned business to a best-in-class operator. The exit marked the culmination of an operational overhaul, including streamlining the business by selling non-core routes and assets and focusing the business on two routes linking Germany and Denmark.

Action has been awarded Best Store Chain of the Netherlands for the fifth consecutive year. It also won the Retailer of the Year Netherlands 2018 - 2019 award. These awards are based on consumer ratings of various store criteria including price, product range and customer service.
