Piotr joined 3i in 2017 and is a Director in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He was a deal team member on 3i’s investments in Luqom Group, the largest European online specialist in the lighting space, and Formel D, a global service provider to the automotive and component supply industry. He currently sits on the board of Formel D.
Prior to joining 3i, Piotr gained work experience as a Consultant with McKinsey and in investment banking at Deutsche Bank.
Piotr holds a Masters degree in Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.

Antoine Giroux joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its European Private Equity team based in Paris.
Prior to joining 3i, Antoine spent three years at LFPI Gestion where he supported a number of investments and was involved in the management of several portfolio companies. He started his career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan in 2014 in London and then New York within the Industrial and Consumer & Retail coverage teams.
He holds a Masters in Management from HEC Paris.

Andreas joined 3i in 2007 and is a Partner in the Frankfurt office.
Some of his key investments include: YDEON (GartenHaus), Scandlines, Christ, Amor, and NORMA Group. He currently sits on the board of YDEON and was on the boards of Scandlines, Amor, and Christ.

Nicolas joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its European Private Equity team based in Paris.
Prior to joining 3i, Nicolas worked as an investment banker at Canaccord Genuity where he was involved in M&A transactions mainly in the business services sector. He also worked as a Leveraged Finance Analyst at Société Générale.
Nicolas holds an MSc in Finance from ESSEC Business School.

Ulf joined 3i Germany in 2001 and was appointed joint Managing Director and co-head of Germany in May 2009.
Ulf has worked on a number of Private Equity transactions at 3i. His most recent deals include xSuite, MAIT, Formel D and Weener Plastics, where he also sits on the board. He has also led the successful exits of ATESTEO, GEKA and HILITE International.
Ulf studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Aachen (RWTH), where he also received a PhD. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University Hagen.

Nathaniel joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its European Private Equity team and is based in Paris. He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in the Business & Technology Services sector.
Nathaniel started his career at L.E.K. Consulting in Paris, where he worked with corporate and private equity clients on engagements spanning commercial and vendor due diligence, growth strategy and operational projects. During his studies, Nathaniel also worked as a Private Equity analyst at PSP investments in London, a M&A analyst at Société Générale in Paris and as a business developer at Wibbitz in Tel-Aviv, an Israeli technology start-up.
Nathaniel holds a Master of Science in Management from HEC Paris.

Nicolas is an Associate Director in the Benelux Private Equity team. He is a deal team member of European Bakery Group and Yanga.
Prior to joining 3i in 2022, Nicolas was an investor at TowerBrook Capital Partners, focused on the Benelux region as well as Consumer, Retail and Food across Europe. Prior to TowerBrook, he started his career in the Leveraged Finance and Benelux M&A teams of J.P. Morgan in London.
Nicolas holds a BSc in Economics and a BSc in Fiscal Economics from the University of Amsterdam, and an MSc in Finance from the Duisenberg School of Finance.

Joseph joined 3i in 2023 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York.
Prior to joining 3i, Joseph was an Investment Banking Analyst with Solomon Partners in the Grocery, Pharmacy and Restaurants Group, where he focussed on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
Joseph graduated summa cum laude from Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame with a B.B.A. in Business Analytics. He was the recipient of the 2021 Hamilton Award for the highest cumulative grade point average in the department of IT, Analytics, and Operations.

Rupert is a Partner based in London. He co-heads the UK PE team, leads the consumer team and sits on the board of MPM.
Rupert joined 3i in 2018 prior to which he was a Director in the Consumer, Retail and Leisure team at Rothschild in London. He brings 12 years’ experience advising both public and private companies on transactions across the UK and Europe.
Rupert graduated with a BA from Durham University.

Sophia is ESG & Sustainability Director within 3i’s Private Equity business, with responsibility for leading the consideration of ESG matters through the investment lifecycle, defining the team’s ESG strategy, and providing support to portfolio companies across Europe and North America. Sophia is also a member of the 3i Group ESG Committee.
Sophia previously spent 11 years in 3i’s Fund Investor Relations team, having joined 3i in 2011. She holds an honours degree in History from the University of Durham, and a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (“CISL”).

Linus joined 3i in 2021 and is an Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt.
He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in Germany as well as in the Consumer sector. He currently sits on the board as an observer in 3i’s investment in YDEON. Linus previously was an observer on the board of Christ.
Prior to joining 3i, he worked as an Analyst at DTCP in Germany.
Linus holds a MSc in International Finance from Nova SBE in Lisbon and a BSc in International Business from the University of Maastricht.

Robert joined 3i in 2020 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. Robert focuses on Business & Technology Services and has been involved in 3i’s investments in WilsonHCG and arrivia.
Prior to joining 3i, Robert worked as a Vice President at Bridge Growth Partners, where he invested in the technology and tech-enabled services sectors.
Robert was also previously an Analyst at J.P. Morgan in the Financial Institutions investment banking group. Robert graduated with distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earning a BS in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School along with a History minor from the College of Arts & Sciences.

Pieter joined 3i in 2004, was Managing Director of 3i Benelux and has been co-Head Private Equity and a member of the Executive Committee since 2019. He is based in Amsterdam.
He was a key member of the deal teams involved in Yanga, Mepal, European Bakery Group, Royal Sanders, Basic-Fit, Weener Plastics, Lampenwelt, Refresco and Action. He currently sits on the Boards of Yanga, Mepal, European Bakery Group and Royal Sanders and is a Board Observer at Weener Plastics.
Pieter has more than 25 years’ experience in corporate finance, management and operations. He started his career at Stork in the US, before joining Van Den Boom Groep, a corporate finance consulting firm in Benelux, where he became partner responsible for M&A. After selling the company to NIBC, Pieter headed the M&A department.
Pieter has an MBA degree from Georgia State University (USA) and a BBA degree from Nijenrode University (Netherlands).

Prior to 3i, Boris worked in the M&A department of ABN AMRO and at Nederlandse Gasunie.
