Justin joined 3i in February 2018 and is an Associate Director in the Amsterdam office. He is focused on the Consumer sector and is a deal team member for Mepal and BoConcept. He currently serves on the board of BoConcept.
Before joining 3i, Justin was a Commercial Project Manager at Coolblue in Rotterdam, and prior to this worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam.
He holds a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Utrecht University, and a MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking from Duisenberg School of Finance, Amsterdam.

Telman joined 3i in 2022 and is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He focuses on the origination and execution of investments in Germany. He is involved in 3i’s investment in Weener Plastics.
Prior to joining 3i, Telman worked as an Investment Banking Analyst at BNP Paribas in Germany, and as an Investment Associate at Palladio Partners.
Telman holds an MSc in Finance from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Lars joined 3i in 2023 and is an Associate in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He focuses on originating and executing investments in the DACH region, particularly in the Software & Services sector. He is involved in 3i’s investment in MAIT.
Before joining 3i, Lars worked in Investment Banking at Credit Suisse and gained additional experience at Montagu Private Equity and Rivean Capital.
He holds a BSc in Business Administration with a focus on Banking & Finance from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Nikhil joined 3i in 2016 in the New York office and is a member of 3i’s Healthcare sector coverage team. He participates in all elements of the investment process, including industry segment analysis, identification and screening of new opportunities, due diligence, transaction structuring, financing and execution. He currently sits on the Board of SaniSure, ten23, Q Holding and Cirtec Medical.
Prior to joining 3i, Nikhil was a Vice President at Chicago Pacific Founders, where he was an integral member of a debut middle market private equity fund and participated in the acquisition of three portfolio companies. Prior to joining CPF, Nikhil was a Senior Associate at Water Street Healthcare Partners, a mid-market private equity firm with approximately $2 billion of capital under management. While at Water Street, he helped execute a number of platform investments and successful portfolio company exits. Nikhil was previously an Analyst in the Global Healthcare Investment Banking division of UBS Investment Bank.
Nikhil graduated from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business with Honors.

Bastiaan is a Partner and Head of 3i’s Benelux Private Equity team. He is a deal team member for Basic-Fit, European Bakery Group and Royal Sanders. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of European Bakery Group and Royal Sanders. Previously, Bastiaan served on the Board of Directors of Kinolt and Yanga and was an Observer on the Boards of Azelis and BoConcept.
Prior to joining 3i, Bastiaan worked in the Benelux Investment Banking team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Amsterdam.
He holds a Masters degree in Financial Economics and a Masters degree in Financial Law from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Jia joined 3i in 2024 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. She is involved in 3i’s investment in Q Holding.
Prior to 3i, Jia was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer Group at Deloitte Corporate Finance, where she focused on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
Jia has a B.S. in Finance and IT with a concentration in Business Analytics from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, as well as a Minor in Computer Science.

Saty joined 3i in 2022 as a member of its North America Private Equity team based in New York. He focuses on Services and Software, and has been involved in 3i’s investment in arrivia as well as the RedWeek and Personify transactions. Prior to 3i, Saty was a Consultant at A.T. Kearney, where he advised corporate and private equity clients in North America and Europe.
During his graduate studies, he gained internship experience in private equity with Cerberus Capital Management and Access Holdings, where he was involved in the execution of investments in the consumer and business services sectors.
Saty received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, his MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and BA with High Honors in Political Science and Philosophy from Swarthmore College.

Richard joined 3i in 2007 and is Head of 3i’s North American Private Equity team and the Global Head of Healthcare.
He has been involved in 3i’s investments in Mold-Masters, Quintiles, Q Holding, Dynatect Manufacturing, Cirtec Medical, SaniSure and ten23 Health. He currently sits on the Boards of Q Holding, Dynatect Manufacturing, Cirtec Medical, SaniSure and ten23 Health, and previously sat on the Boards of Quintiles and Mold-Masters.
Prior to joining 3i, Richard was a Principal at Halyard Capital, where he invested in companies in the media, business services and communications sectors. Prior to joining Halyard, Richard was an Associate at Entrade, where he invested in technology and internet infrastructure businesses.
Richard began his career at Security Capital's Preferred Growth Private Equity fund.

Prior to joining 3i, Valerie gained internship experience in the Investment Banking team at Lazard Benelux and mid-market Private Equity firm Bencis Capital Partners.
She holds a BSc degree in Economics and Finance from the University of Amsterdam, and a MSc in Finance and Investments from the RSM Erasmus.

Alastair is Head of Legal for 3i's Private Equity team, with responsibility for legal risk management and the provision of legal support for new investments, portfolio matters, exits and fundraising activities to 3i's international Private Equity business.
Alastair joined 3i in 1998 from a London law firm where he worked as an Associate specialising in international corporate M&A and private equity. He holds a BA joint honours degree in Economics & Law from Durham University and is qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales. Alastair is also vice chair of the BVCA Legal Committee.

Alec joined 3i in 2015, based in 3i's North American Private Equity team. He focuses primarily on software and tech-enabled services with a focus on new investments in IT services, supply chain software, ERP, digital commerce, and infrastructure software. He also spends time in eCommerce / marketplace businesses and consumer. Alec has been involved in 3i’s platform investments in xSuite, WilsonHCG, MPM, Magnitude Software, arrivia (formerly International Cruises & Excursions), and Dynatect, as well as our minority investment in insightsoftware. He has also been involved in the RedWeek, Personify, SOR Technology, iCruise/WMPH and Thodacon GMBH transactions. He is currently a Board Director for arrivia and WilsonHCG.
Prior to 3i, Alec was a management consultant at Bain & Company where he worked in the private equity group and for corporate clients across a variety of sectors. Alec graduated as a Robertson Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, where he earned a BS in Business Administration and BA in Economics.

Prior to joining 3i, he spent six years at the Boston Consulting Group where he advised corporate and private equity clients in North America and Europe on a broad range of topics including growth strategy and commercial due diligence. In addition, Matthias worked as Senior Director of Strategy & Business Development for A Place For Mom.

During his studies, Armand interned with Rothschild & Co in Paris and Lafayette RE, a Real Estate Private Equity house, in New York.
