John is a Partner in 3i's Infrastructure team in London and joined 3i in November 2013.
He is responsible for asset management of greenfield and operational infrastructure projects, as well as the fund management of a number of 3i’s private infrastructure funds. He works closely with portfolio board directors and Infrastructure Managers Limited, the business’s main SPV management services provider.
John is also on the Boards of Cross London Trains and Wireless Infrastructure Group. Previously, John was a Director at Barclays Infrastructure Funds, St Modwen Properties, Land Securities and Vinci. Earlier in his career he worked for Arup.
John has a Geography Degree from the University of Liverpool, an MSc in Transport Planning & Economics from the University of Cardiff and an MBA from Cass Business School.

Rémi joined 3i in 2003 and is currently the Head of the French Private Equity team. He sits on the Boards of Havea and Evernex.
In 2019, Rémi led 3i’s investment in Evernex, a leading European provider of third party maintenance services for data centre infrastructure.
In 2017, he led 3i’s investment in Havea, a European leader in the natural consumer healthcare industry, offering OTC / food supplements and hygiene products. Since 3i's investment, the company has completed three acquisitions (Ersa/Aragan, Densmore and Pasquali).
In 2011, he led 3i's investment in Etanco, a European specialist in fastening systems for the construction industry, where he sat on the Board. Together with management, they made a strategic acquisition in Poland and ran several improvement programmes including pricing and sales force excellence. Etanco was successfully sold in 2018 having grown and expanded during two construction sector downturns.
In 2010, he led 3i’s investment in Vedici, the French group of private clinics, where he sat on the Board and worked with management to complete 12 acquisitions, while in parallel restructuring the group, optimising its operational efficiency and completing a major sale and lease back. Vedici doubled its size in four years and was successfully sold in 2014.
Previous successful deals Rémi has led include Trescal, the global leader in calibration services. Rémi chaired the Supervisory Board and supported the management in its fast growing plan with five acquisitions across Europe and its expansion into the US. Trescal doubled its EBITDA in three years and was successfully sold in 2013.
He was also involved in Keolis (public transport) and GEKA, a cosmetic packaging specialist, and has contributed to deals outside France, including Inspicio (testing and inspection in the UK), ATESTEO (testing and inspection for the automotive industry in Germany and China), Formel D (global service / quality assurance provider to the automotive industry; Germany), Hans Anders (market leading value-for-money optical retailer; Benelux) and TCR (leading global provider of airport ground support equipment; Benelux).
Prior to joining 3i, Rémi founded and headed a French venture capital firm in Tunisia and spent three years with McKinsey. Rémi has a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Paris Business School (ESCP) and an executive MBA (sponsored by McKinsey).

Frédéric is currently on the board of Evernex, a leading international provider of third party maintenance services.
Frédéric was also involved in the acquisition by 3i Infrastructure plc of Ionisos, a leading owner and operator of cold sterilisation facilities servicing the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
Before joining 3i, Frédéric held roles in investment banking at Morgan Stanley and Rothschild, as well as in private equity at Providence Equity and Silverfleet Capital, in both Paris and London.
Most recently, Frédéric worked at ING in London with a particular focus on advising corporates and private equity funds on French M&A transactions. Prior to this, he was co-owner of a niche independent investment banking firm with offices in France and China.
Frédéric graduated from the French engineering school, Telecom Paris, and the business school, HEC.

Aaron is a Partner in the Infrastructure team based in London, with a focus on origination, execution and asset management of investments in Europe. He has played a key role in 3i's acquisitions of Attero, Joulz, Herambiente, ESVAGT, Infinis and Tampnet, and is a director on the boards of Attero, Joulz and Oystercatcher.
Prior to 3i, Aaron worked for HRL Morrison & Co, a major Australasian headquartered infrastructure fund manager, and the Boston Consulting Group.
Aaron holds a B.Com from the University of Canterbury and a M.B.A. (Distinction) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Rob joined 3i in 2017 as the Managing Partner for North American Infrastructure. He is a member of 3i’s Executive Committee. Prior to joining 3i, Rob led Hastings Funds Management’s infrastructure investment activities in North America & Europe and was a member of Hastings’ Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
Previously, Rob founded the infrastructure M&A practice at Morgan Stanley and Greenhill where he was a Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Investment Banking for the Americas at both firms. He started his infrastructure career at Goldman Sachs after spending five years as an active-duty, naval officer in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Program.
Rob holds an MBA from The Wharton School, a masters equivalent in nuclear engineering from the Bettis Reactor Engineering School, and a B.E., magna cum laude, in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

James is a Portfolio Director in 3i's Asset Management Group which manages investments in a range of companies across a variety of sectors and geographies.
He has been with 3i since 1998 having started his career at PiMS UK, a London based media services company, where he headed up the financial services account team. James subsequently joined 3i’s London based portfolio management team in 2002 where his focus was managing higher value minority investments.
James has 20 years’ experience of managing Growth Capital and Buyout assets across a wide range of sectors. He has both invested in, and supported, companies at various stages of growth and completed a significant number of successful realisations including the sales of SLR Consulting, Oticas Carol and OneMed.

Gordon joined 3i in 2000 and heads up the Internal Audit function based in London.
He is responsible for providing internal audit services as well as advice and support across a range of areas including corporate governance and risk management.
Prior to 3i, Gordon worked with PwC in both the UK and Netherlands before moving to the internal audit profession working initially in the consumer and healthcare sector.
Gordon has an MA in Economics from the University of St. Andrews. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, Financial Risk Manager and Certified Fraud Examiner, and is a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors.

James is Chief Financial Officer for 3i Group's Infrastructure business and joined in January 2016. He manages all of the operational, financial and reporting requirements for the Infrastructure business line within 3i Group, as well as performing CFO duties for 3i Infrastructure plc.
Prior to joining 3i, James was with Legal & General Investment Management where he held a number of senior finance roles, including Finance Director of LGV Capital from 2007 to 2015.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

John is Director, Group Compliance and is responsible for regulatory compliance at 3i. He joined 3i’s in-house legal team in 1997, providing wide-ranging legal support to 3i’s investment and corporate activities worldwide until he took over responsibility for the compliance function in 2010.
Prior to joining 3i, he worked as a solicitor in private practice and remains admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.
John is also a member of the BVCA’s Regulatory Committee and has represented that Committee on the board of the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group.

Pieter joined 3i in 2004, was Managing Director of 3i Benelux and has been co-Head Private Equity and a member of the Executive Committee since 2019. He is based in Amsterdam.
He was a key member of the deal teams involved in Royal Sanders, Basic-Fit, Weener Plastics, Luqom Group, Refresco and Action. He currently sits on the boards of Basic-Fit and Royal Sanders and is an Observer on the board of Weener Plastics.
Pieter has more than 25 years' experience in corporate finance, management and operations. He started his career at Stork in the US, before joining Van Den Boom Groep, a corporate finance consulting firm in Benelux, where he became partner responsible for M&A. After selling the company to NIBC, Pieter headed the M&A department.
Pieter has an MBA degree from Georgia State University (USA) and a BBA degree from Nijenrode University (Netherlands).

Anna joined 3i in 2006, is a Partner in the Infrastructure team, and leads asset management for the portfolio of economic infrastructure investments.
Over the last 12 years, Anna has had a leading role on many of the large infrastructure investments made by 3i, including Elenia and Eversholt Rail. In 2015 she led the successful bid for 45% stakes in Oiltanking terminals in Ghent and Terneuzen. In 2017 she was senior deal team member for the acquisition of a portfolio of assets from the EISER Global Infrastructure Fund.
Anna holds board positions at Belfast City Airport, ESP Utilities Group and at Oiltanking companies in Singapore, Amsterdam, Terneuzen, Ghent and Malta.
Prior to 3i, Anna advised on infrastructure transactions at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has a BA Joint Honours in French and German from the University of Nottingham and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.

Adrien is a Senior Associate in 3i’s Infrastructure team in Paris and joined in September 2015. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals in the infrastructure sector.
He is currently involved in TCR and Valorem.
Prior to joining 3i, Adrien worked in the investment banking division of Société Générale, advising on Financial Institution Group transactions.
Adrien graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique.

Piotr joined the 3i team in 2017 and is an Associate Director in the German Private Equity team based in Frankfurt. He was a deal team member on 3i’s investments in Luqom Group, the largest European online specialist in the lighting space, and Formel D, a global service provider to the automotive and component supply industry.
Prior to joining 3i, Piotr gained work experience as a Consultant with McKinsey and Company in the Corporate Finance practice and in investment banking at Deutsche Bank focused on M&A and ECM transactions.
Piotr holds a Masters degree in Finance from HEC Paris and a Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.

Steve joined 3i in 2017 as a Vice President in the North American Infrastructure team. Prior to joining 3i, Steve was an Associate Director at Hastings Funds Management where he was responsible for the origination, execution and management of infrastructure equity investments in the energy, utilities and transportation sectors.
Steve began his career as an investment banker at BNP Paribas, where he focused on project finance and advisory in the infrastructure, power and energy sectors.
Steve holds a Bachelor’s degree in economics from Bucknell University.

Stéphane is a Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in Paris and joined 3i in November 2013, following 3i’s acquisition of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Limited. He joined BIFM in 2005 to set up the business and originate investment opportunities in France.
He is currently involved in origination, execution, asset management and value creation across all sectors, for both greenfield and brownfield. He is also involved in business development in the Benelux and Central Europe.
Previously, Stéphane spent two years in the Strategy department of Barclays, helping the bank's product and country management grow their businesses. Before this, he was a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in Paris and also worked in M&A for Morgan Stanley in London.
Stéphane holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, an MSc in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and an MSc in Finance & Economics from the London School of Economics.
