    Stéphane is a Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in Paris and joined 3i in November 2013, following 3i’s acquisition of Barclays Infrastructure Funds Management Limited. He joined BIFM in 2005 to set up the business and originate investment opportunities in France.

    He is currently involved in origination, execution, asset management and value creation across all sectors, for both greenfield and brownfield. He is also involved in business development in the Benelux and Central Europe.

    Previously, Stéphane spent two years in the Strategy department of Barclays, helping the bank's product and country management grow their businesses. Before this, he was a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in Paris and also worked in M&A for Morgan Stanley in London.

    Stéphane holds an MBA with distinction from INSEAD, an MSc in Engineering from Ecole Centrale Paris and an MSc in Finance & Economics from the London School of Economics.

    Prior to joining 3i, was a Senior Managing Director, running GE’s European Leveraged Finance business after serving as European General Counsel for GE. Prior to GE, was a partner at the law firms Travers Smith and Latham & Watkins.

    Jennifer is the Partner heading the Fund Investor Relations team.

    Prior to this, Jennifer was a Partner in the UK Buyouts team and Head of Consumer in the UK. Since joining 3i in June 2005 she co-led 3i’s investment in Mayborn and co-led the take privates of Telecity Group and Redbus to create TelecityRedbus.  In November 2007 she was responsible for 3i’s investment in Agent Provocateur.

    Prior to joining 3i, Jennifer spent nine years at Terra Firma Capital Partners and Nomura’s Principal Finance Group (PFG), where she was Managing Director. In addition to numerous portfolio responsibilities, major deals that she led there include the privatisation of Angel Train Contracts and the acquisition of Inn Partnership. Jennifer started her career as a solicitor for Allen, Allen & Hemsley in Sydney and London.

    Jennifer holds a BA degree and LLB from the University of Sydney. She is Co-Founder and immediate past Chair of Level 20, an initiative to support women in private equity, and a Trustee of The Fred Hollows Foundation (UK).

    Matt is an Associate Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in London and joined in January 2017. He is primarily responsible for the asset management of infrastructure and energy projects in the UK and continental Europe. Matt also leads on a number of value enhancement strategies as well as evaluating and executing selected investment opportunities.

    Previously Matt was an Investment Director at Innisfree Limited where he was responsible for asset management of operational infrastructure projects and led on a number of secondary PPP acquisitions.

    Matt holds a first class honours degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Nottingham and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

    Kate joined 3i’s New York Infrastructure team as a Vice President in 2018. Her role is principally focused on the evaluation of infrastructure opportunities in North America and asset management support to 3i’s North American infrastructure assets.

    Kate has over 9 years’ experience in the infrastructure investment community. Prior to joining 3i, Kate worked at QIC in their newly established North American office for two and a half years where she managed the transport sector for QIC’s North American activities across both business development and asset management. Previously, Kate ran an independent consulting business providing support to equity investors on global transport assets and had a six-year career with Cintra in Texas and Sydney. She was a founding member of Cintra’s Sydney office in her role as Technical Manager, undertaking corporate and business development activities in Australia and Southeast Asia. Her other roles at Cintra included being Traffic and Revenue Manager for Cintra’s North American market. Key responsibilities in these prior roles included deal origination, transaction due diligence, and asset portfolio management.

    Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Hons) and Master of Science in Civil Engineering, Transportation (Hons), both from the University of Texas at Austin.

    Thomas is Investor Relations Director for 3i Group’s Infrastructure business and joined in February 2016. He is responsible for interacting with the limited partners and public shareholders across 3i Group’s infrastructure funds as well as managing any new fundraising and co-investment opportunities.

    Prior to joining 3i, Thomas worked in the private placement team at HSBC, where he advised General Partners on fundraising in Europe and Asia. Thomas started his career at Lehman Brothers where he focused on private placements and fundraising for alternative investment funds.

    Thomas holds a Master in Finance and Business Administration from HEC, Paris.

    Alan joined 3i in 2005 and is Managing Partner, Head of Private Equity and a member of 3i’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee, having previously been Global Sector Head for Business & Technology Services.

    Prior to joining 3i he spent 13 years in investment banking, latterly as Managing Director at Societe Generale, where he was Global Head of Transport & Business Services, advising a range of quoted and private equity owned businesses. Alan started his career as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, and has a degree in Economics from Durham University. Alan is also the Senior Independent Director of Hill & Smith Holdings PLC, a FTSE 250 company.

    Since joining 3i Alan has led a number of transactions across the Business & Technology Services and Consumer sectors including the Buyouts of Audley Travel, Mayborn, Element Materials Technology, JMJ Associates and Inspicio Group. He currently sits on the Board of Audley Travel.

    Bill began his career at Morgan Stanley in the media and communications investment banking group.

    Bill holds Bachelor’s degrees in economics and honors mathematics from Boston College.

    Andreas joined 3i in 2007 and is a Director in the Frankfurt office.

    His key investments include: NORMA Group and add-on investment into R.G.Ray, forming a leader in engineered joining technology as well as its IPO on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange; Amor, the German market leader for affordable precious jewellery; Christ, a leading retailer for jewellery and watches in Germany; and Scandlines, one of Europe’s largest ferry operators. He is currently a Board member of Scandlines.

    Before joining 3i, Andreas worked in investment banking, M&A transactions and asset management with Sal. Oppenheim and UBS. Andreas holds an MSc in Banking and International Finance from Cass Business School in London.

    Rowena joined 3i in 2007 and is based in London, focusing on originating, executing and representing 3i on the Boards of Private Equity investments. She has been involved in 3i's investments in Audley Travel, Aspen Pumps and Phibro Animal Health, and the sale of Centrul Medical Unirea to Advent International. Rowena currently sits on the Board of Audley Travel.

    Previously, Rowena worked for venture capital firm Scottish Equity Partners in London, and for boutique funds management group Quest Asset Partners in Sydney.

    Rowena holds a Bachelor of Advanced Science/Commerce degree from the University of Sydney, Australia and spent one year of her degree on exchange at Royal Holloway, University of London.

    Stéphane leads 3i’s Infrastructure team in Paris and oversees the origination of projects across Europe for various funds including EOPF, for which he co-led the fundraising activity in 2017-2018.  

    Previously, Stéphane was head of Egis Investment Partners, after starting his career in international financial institutions such as the World Bank. He graduated as a civil engineer from the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole National des Ponts-et-Chaussées.

    He began his career in Private Equity at Astorg Partners, spending four years in the Paris team where he focused on healthcare and industrial investments across Europe.

    Jacques-Henry is a graduate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and EDHEC Business School.

    Anjali joined 3i in 2007 from ICICI Bank where she was part of the project finance group, heading the Transportation sub-group. She brings 25 years of experience having worked in the areas of project financing, debt and equity syndication, restructuring and investment banking in her prior assignments at ICICI Bank, Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Ltd., KPMG and SBI Capital Markets.

    She holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors Degree in Science from Gujarat University.

    Neil has been with 3i for over thirty years, and for the last twenty has been a key member of 3i's Private Equity Fund Investor Relations Team with responsibilities for the full spectrum of limited partner interactions. He has been closely involved in numerous 3i fundraisings since 1994, most recently in 3i Eurofund V (€5bn), 3i India Infrastructure ($1.2bn) and the 3i Growth Capital Fund (€1.2bn). He has also been involved in several co-investments by third party investors alongside 3i in private equity portfolio companies including Formel D, Weener Plastics, Action, Hilite and Ambea. He works closely with limited partners, deal teams, finance, tax and legal professionals from across the world to deliver a best-in-class investor relations service.

    Neil originally joined 3i in 1987 on secondment from KPMG in a private equity investment team based in London focused on larger buyouts. During those initial years, he worked as part of a team on a number of 3i's larger buyouts, including Compass Group, Associated Fresh Foods and Zotefoams.  Prior to joining 3i, Neil qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, having taken an honours degree in Mathematics and Economics at Cambridge University.

    Neil is a member of the Professional Standards Committee of Invest Europe, and Vice-Chairman of Invest Europe's Working Group on Accounting Standards, Valuation and Reporting. He is Invest Europe’s representative on the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation (IPEV) Board, the body responsible for formulating global valuation standards for the private equity industry.

    James joined 3i in 2017. He is responsible for 3i’s Group Strategy and is a member of the Investment Committee.

    Prior to joining 3i, James was Chief Operating Officer of KKR in Europe and, before that, Co-CEO of Avoca Capital.  Earlier in his career, James was a corporate finance professional for 20 years, holding various roles at Freeman & Co., Greenhill & Co. and Schroders.  He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992.

    James is also the Senior Independent Director of Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. 

    He holds a First Class Joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Surrey.
