Richard joined 3i in 2007 and is Head of 3i’s North American Private Equity team and the Global Head of Healthcare.
He has been involved in 3i’s investments in Mold-Masters, Quintiles, Q Holding, Dynatect Manufacturing, Cirtec Medical, SaniSure and ten23 Health. He currently sits on the Boards of Q Holding, Dynatect Manufacturing, Cirtec Medical, SaniSure and ten23 Health, and previously sat on the Boards of Quintiles and Mold-Masters.
Prior to joining 3i, Richard was a Principal at Halyard Capital, where he invested in companies in the media, business services and communications sectors. Prior to joining Halyard, Richard was an Associate at Entrade, where he invested in technology and internet infrastructure businesses.
Richard began his career at Security Capital's Preferred Growth Private Equity fund.

Alastair is Head of Legal for 3i's Private Equity team, with responsibility for legal risk management and the provision of legal support for new investments, portfolio matters, exits and fundraising activities to 3i's international Private Equity business.
Alastair joined 3i in 1998 from the law firm, Nabarro LLP, where he worked as an Associate specialising in international corporate M&A and private equity. He holds a BA joint honours degree in Economics & Law from Durham University and is qualified as a Solicitor in England & Wales. Alastair is also vice chair of the BVCA Legal & Accounting Committee.

Christoph joined 3i in 2015 and is a Director in the German Private Equity team. He was part of the deal team in 3i's investment in Weener Plastics, a leading manufacturer of innovative plastic packaging systems for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies, and is a Member of Weener Plastics' Supervisory Board. He was also part of the deal team in 3i's investment in Formel D.
Prior to joining 3i, Christoph worked at Rothschild in the German M&A advisory team, where he was involved in a number of German and cross-border transactions for industrial and consumer companies. Previously, he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in the Advisory Transactions Valuation & Strategy division focusing on clients in the technology sector.
Christoph holds a Master of Engineering from Imperial College in London.

Daniel joined 3i in 2019 as an Associate in the North American Infrastructure team.
Prior to joining 3i, Daniel was an Analyst at Post Road Group where he focused on growth investments in the telecom and communications infrastructure sectors.
Daniel holds an Economics degree from Princeton University.

Chris is a Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in London with a focus on origination, execution and asset management of investments in Europe.
Prior to joining 3i, Chris worked in transaction services at PwC where he focused on providing post-deal support to private equity backed businesses. He previously led the European corporate finance team at a large European real estate developer and construction business.
Chris holds a BSc in Accounting & Statistics, and is a Chartered Accountant.

Alec joined 3i in 2015, based in 3i's North American Private Equity team. He focuses primarily on software and business & technology services with a focus on new investments in supply chain software, ERP, digital commerce, and infrastructure software. He also spends time in eCommerce and consumer. Alec has been involved in 3i’s platform investments in WilsonHCG, MPM, Magnitude Software, insightsoftware, arrivia (formerly International Cruises & Excursions), Audley Travel, and Dynatect. He has also been involved in the SOR Technology, iCruise/WMPH and Thodacon GMBH transactions. He is currently a Board Director for arrivia and WilsonHCG.
Prior to 3i, Alec was an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company where he worked in the private equity group and for corporate clients in the business services, consumer products and telecommunications sectors. His work included commercial due-diligence, growth strategy, post-merger integration, performance improvement and supply-chain restructuring.
Alec graduated as a Robertson Scholar from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, where he earned a BS in Business Administration and BA in Economics.

Silvia is responsible for 3i’s programme of relations with public market investors and analysts and for sustainability reporting and communications.
Before joining 3i in 2007, Silvia worked at Finsbury, the financial communications consultancy, for nearly two years, and in Citi’s Equity Capital Markets division for seven years.
Silvia has a BSc(Econ) in Government and an MSc(Econ) in European Politics and Policy from the London School of Economics.

Rudi Schembri joined 3i’s Banking Team in June 2015 and has since worked on banking for several acquisitions and portfolio companies including Action, ATESTEO, Evernex, Formel D, GEKA, Hans Anders, Havea, Luqom, MPM and Scandlines.
Before joining 3i Private Equity, Rudi spent 4 years in Deutsche Bank’s Leveraged Debt Capital Markets Team, where he worked across both the term loan and high yield bond products. Prior to this, Rudi spent 5 years at UBS in the Leveraged Finance Team and the UK Investment Banking Team. In addition, Rudi worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers’ consulting services for 1 year.
Rudi holds an MSc Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Malta, both with first class honours.

Tim joined 3i in 2007, where his focus is on the origination, execution and debt financing of infrastructure investments.
His transaction experience includes Attero, Belfast City Airport, East Surrey Pipelines, Elenia, ESVAGT, Infinis, Oystercatcher, Scandlines, Tampnet, TCR and WIG.
Prior to joining 3i, he was at RBC Capital Markets, having started his career in the European financial restructuring group at Houlihan Lokey.

Jake joined 3i in 2021 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. Jake has since been involved in 3i’s investments in Cirtec Medical, insightsoftware and WilsonHCG.
Prior to joining 3i, Jake worked as an Analyst in the Consumer & Retail Investment Banking Group at Morgan Stanley, where he focused on M&A advisory and capital raising transactions.
Jake graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Economics.

Bernardo became Co-Head of Economic Infrastructure, Europe in May 2021, alongside Scott. Bernardo joined 3i in 2015 as a Partner with responsibility for origination and execution of new investments across Europe, principally economic infrastructure businesses.
Bernardo has 18 years of infrastructure investment experience and was most recently a Partner at Antin Infrastructure which manages funds investing in infrastructure opportunities across Europe.
Prior to Antin, Bernardo was Managing Director, Head of Acquisitions for Deutsche Bank’s European infrastructure fund. His prior experience was in utilities, as Head of M&A at Energias de Portugal, and in infrastructure advisory with UBS and Citigroup.
Bernardo holds an economics degree from the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.

Giovanni joined 3i in January 2020 as an Associate in the Infrastructure team based in Paris. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals across the Economic Infrastructure and Projects space. He is currently involved in Ionisos.
Previously, he was an Associate in the M&A team at BNP Paribas in Paris. He originated and executed deals across several sectors in the EMEA region.
Giovanni graduated from HEC Paris and Bocconi Milan.

Michael joined 3i in 2015 and is a Director in the German Private Equity team. He is responsible for the Business & Technology Services sector in the German-speaking region. He led the investment in MAIT, an IT services provider and was part of the deal team for the investment in Luqom (Lampenwelt), an online retailer of lighting products. He is currently on the Boards of MAIT and DNS:NET, a provider of fibre telecommunication solutions.
Prior to joining 3i, Michael worked at Warburg Pincus in Frankfurt and London, where he was involved in a number of private equity investments in Germany and Europe. Previously, he worked in the Transaction Advisory Services division of Ernst & Young and in consulting with Deloitte Consulting.
Michael holds a Master degree in Economics from Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

David is a Partner based in London and is co-head of the UK PE team, leading its efforts in the industrial technology sector.
David has worked on a number of 3i investments, including its acquisition of Sussex-based Aspen Pumps, the global market leader in condensate removal pumps; Ohio-based Q Holding, manufacturer of precision moulded silicone components for the auto and medical industries; Wisconsin-headquartered Dynatect Manufacturing, a provider of critical components designed to protect and elongate equipment lifetime and promote worker safety; and Oxfordshire-based Audley Travel, the leading provider of tailor-made travel, where David currently sits on the Board.
Prior to joining 3i, David worked in investment banking at DC Advisory Partners, advising clients on European mid-market M&A.
