Jim is a solicitor with almost twenty years’ experience in infrastructure and private equity investment and funds. He has worked as senior counsel in 3i’s Infrastructure Team since 2007, with responsibilities for legal risk management, legal and regulatory aspects of new investment, portfolio management, fund structuring, and equity and debt raising by 3i and its fund clients. Jim joined 3i in 1998, initially working with the UK investment business and subsequently for the wider 3i corporate group.
Jim qualified as a solicitor and worked at international private equity and M&A law firm Ashurst from 1993 to 1998.

Rohith is a Senior Associate in the Banking team within 3i Private Equity.
Prior to joining 3i in 2022, Rohith spent over seven years at NatWest Bank working across a range of teams. He spent most of his time in Leveraged Finance, working on European mid-market and large-cap buyouts and financings across all sectors.
Rohith holds a BSc in Biology with Business Management from Imperial College, London.

Jamie joined 3i in 2017. He is focused on originating and executing Private Equity investments across a range of industry sectors, primarily within the UK.
Prior to joining 3i, Jamie was an Investment Manager at Duke Street, where he focused on the services and healthcare sectors. Prior to that, he worked in the investment banking team at Hawkpoint Partners in London advising on public and private transactions across a variety of sectors.
Jamie holds a BA in Economics from Durham University.

James is an Associate Director in the UK Private Equity team. He focuses on originating and executing Private Equity investments across a range of industry sectors within the UK and has been involved in 3i's investments in Digital Barriers and Scandlines as well as GartenHaus's investment in Outdoor Toys.
Prior to joining 3i in 2016, James worked as a consultant at Roland Berger and Deloitte.
James holds a MEng in Materials Science from the University of Oxford.

Jo Thomson leads the Active Partnership team. Her core responsibilities include the sharing of best practice across our investors as well as our portfolio companies. This incorporates the delivery of key events such as the CEO and Chairman Forums, developing Active Partnership related training, creating visibility of advisor performance on Active Partnership initiatives as well as working on key business priorities, for example digitisation and sustainability. She is also responsible for the marketing and internal communications for the Private Equity business.
Prior to joining 3i, Jo worked at EY, initially in their Transaction Advisory Services group and then as Operations Director for their Global Private Equity team.

Oscar joined 3i in 2013 and is responsible for the origination, execution and asset management of infrastructure investments. His transaction experience includes ESVAGT, East Surrey Pipelines, Infinis, Alkane Energy, Elenia and Tampnet. He is currently on the boards of Tampnet and ESVAGT.
Prior to joining 3i, Oscar worked in the investment banking department of Macquarie, with a focus on power and utilities.
Oscar holds a MSc in Economics from Uppsala University.

Nicolas joined 3i in 2014 and is a Director in the Private Equity team based in Frankfurt.
He was part of the deal team in 3i's investments in Luqom Group, YDEON, MPM, Weener Plastics and KINOLT. He currently sits on the Boards of Luqom Group and Christ and was an Observer on the GEKA Board.
Previously, Nicolas worked in Deutsche Bank’s investment banking team with a focus on M&A.

Yaad is a Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London and joined 3i in November 2014. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals and the management of assets in the infrastructure sector.
Prior to joining 3i, Yaad worked in the Corporate Finance division of Ernst & Young. Yaad is a chartered accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and holds a BSc in mathematics from Bristol University.

Rutger Vos joined 3i in 2015 where he is a Director in the Benelux Private Equity and global Consumer teams. He is currently involved in 3i’s investments in VakantieDiscounter, Mepal, nexeye and Action and serves on the Boards of nexeye, Mepal and VakantieDiscounter.
Prior to joining 3i, he worked in the Benelux M&A team at J.P. Morgan in London. He holds an MSc in Finance from Duisenberg School of Finance, a BSc in Political Science from the University of Amsterdam and a BSc in Economics & Business from VU University Amsterdam.

Felicity is an Associate Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London and joined in September 2022. Her primary focus is on debt financing arrangements for the investments across 3i Infrastructure’s portfolio.
Prior to joining 3i, Felicity worked in the energy and infrastructure team at Clifford Chance in London, during which time she advised clients in relation to a range of financing structures and instruments in the sector.
Felicity is a qualified solicitor and holds a MA in History from The University of Edinburgh.

Phil joined 3i in 2007 and is Vice Chair of 3i’s Infrastructure business and a member of 3i’s Investment Committee. From 2014 to 2022 he was Managing Partner, Head of Infrastructure.
Prior to joining 3i, he was Division Director in Macquarie’s Infrastructure Funds business, where he managed investments in the transport sector. Phil has over 20 years of infrastructure investment, advisory and finance experience from earlier roles at Barclays and WestLB.
Phil has an MBA from London Business School.

Richard is Director of Portfolio and Operations for 3i’s Infrastructure business and joined in 2016. He manages the operations of the Infrastructure investment team and leads key projects and initiatives across the business. Richard also manages various portfolio management initiatives and supports some of the Investor Relations activity for 3i Infrastructure plc.
Prior to joining 3i, Richard worked at Barclays plc where he held a number of front office senior business partnering roles within the investment bank and a strategy role in Barclays Group.
Richard is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a degree in Economics from Loughborough University.

Peter joined 3i Germany in 1998. He was appointed co-Managing Director 3i Deutschland in May 2009 and Co-Head of Private Equity in April 2019.
During his time at 3i, Peter has taken a leading role across more than 15 transactions including YDEON, Luqom (Lampenwelt), Christ, Scandlines, Amor and MotorenWerkeMannheim (MWM).
Further transactions in which Peter has been involved include 3i’s investments in arrivia (ICE), Action, Basic-Fit, NORMA, Hyva and Azelis. Peter currently sits on the Boards of Luqom and YDEON.
Prior to joining 3i, Peter worked for Procter & Gamble and Deutsche Bank. He holds a degree in Business and Administration from the University of Bamberg.

Lorenz joined 3i in June 2022 and is an Associate in the Infrastructure team based in London. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals and the management of assets across the economic infrastructure space.
Prior to joining 3i, Lorenz was an Associate in the Infrastructure Equity team at UBS Asset Management in London, where he also focused on origination and execution of new transactions and the management of existing assets.
Lorenz holds a B.Sc. in Management & Technology from the Technical University of Munich and a M.Sc. in International Finance from HEC Paris.
