3i promotes 8 investment professionals in its Private Equity business
3i, the leading international investor focused on mid-market private equity, infrastructure and debt management, is pleased to announce it has promoted the following 8 investment professionals in its Private Equity business:

In addition, Andrew Olinick has been appointed Head of Business Services.
The promotions reflect another successful year for 3i’s Private Equity business, which delivered a 24 per cent gross investment return and significantly improved fund performance, with the Growth Capital Fund at 1.7x (2014: 1.3x) and Eurofund V at 1.4x (2014:1.1x).
In the last twelve months, the Private Equity team has completed five new investments in Euro-Diesel (Benelux), Q Holding (North America), Dynatect (North America), Christ (Germany) and Aspen (UK) and supported over 20 acquisitions within the portfolio. The Private Equity business also took advantage of attractive markets for realisations and refinancings, generating £831m of proceeds for 3i Group plc.
Since the year end the Private Equity business has recruited a further three associates, who have joined the New York, Amsterdam and Frankfurt offices.
