JMJ Associates Announces New CEO Mark Britton
JMJ Associates, the world’s leading Safety Leadership consultancy, announced the appointment of Mark Britton as its Chief Executive Officer effective January 1, 2015.
Mr. Britton, who has been with JMJ since 1994, served previously as JMJ’s Chief Operating Officer before accepting the appointment to CEO. “I leave JMJ knowing that I have had the privilege to lead an organization dedicated to bettering the lives of people around the world,” Mr. Portner said. “I can imagine no better place to have done my life’s work. As I turn over the CEO role to Mark, I leave with no doubt that the future of this company and its expansive vision is in the best possible hands. Mark is a visionary leader with a deep understanding of our business, our clients and our purpose and values.”
“This is an exciting time in JMJ’s history,” said Mr. Britton. “We have expanded our vision to seek out and address the world''s intractable business and societal challenges in partnership with our clients and have created a clear five year strategy. I am honored to lead this company which is comprised of some of the best consultants in our industry and enable our community to make a difference for our clients.”
In addition to his time as Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Britton’s experience at JMJ over the past twenty years has included leading consulting engagements and creating breakthrough client results in over 40 different countries.
