Following the publication of Sir David Walkers’ Report on transparency in Private Equity on 20 November 2007, 3i comments:
3i welcomes Sir David’s report.
As a FTSE100 company with high levels of disclosure, 3i is supportive of enhanced transparency and greater understanding of the Private Equity industry.
Given 3i’s mid market positioning and the criteria for inclusion, 3i would expect only a small number of our portfolio to be affected by the enhanced reporting requirements.
