3i, an international leader in private equity, has decided to close its venture capital office in Menlo Park at the end of the year, in light of its move away from new venture capital early stage technology investing.
3i’s strategy in North America is to focus on mid-market private equity and infrastructure opportunities.
Under Robert Stefanowski, appointed as Chairman and Managing Partner of 3i North America in September, 3i is focused on active partnerships with growing businesses and infrastructure projects across North America.
