Boris Kawohl is Managing Director 3i Benelux, based in Amsterdam. He is responsible for 3i's global Consumer sector.
He joined 3i in 2005 and has been involved in various deals including Action, Basic-Fit, Hans Anders, BoConcept, Eyes + More, Royal Sanders and Refresco.
He is a Board Member at Action, BoConcept and Hans Anders.
Prior to 3i, Boris worked in the M&A department of ABN AMRO and at Nederlandse Gasunie.

Anil joined 3i in 2007 and is the Partner responsible for 3i's Banking Team within the Private Equity division.
The team has a broad international remit and is responsible for the firm's relationships with its financing institutions and provides specialist banking advice spanning all key financing stages associated with new and existing portfolio assets across 3i Private Equity. This includes raising primary acquisition finance, advising on the management of leveraged capital structures and preparing exit financing. Financing products cover the full debt capital markets spectrum.
Anil has worked on transactions across 3i’s international platform including Scandlines, Mayborn, Norma, Xellia, Civica, Memora, Refresco, Action, Hilite, Amor, GEKA, Christ, WP, ATESTEO, Havea, Luqom Group, Formel D and Evernex.
Anil has over 24 years of banking experience, having started at Lloyds Bank Corporate Banking in 1995. Anil subsequently worked for Dresdner Kleinwort from 1999, where he held various positions in Credit Risk Management, Structured Finance and Corporate Finance & Advisory, completing landmark transactions across a wide range of geographies, sectors and financing structures.
Anil studied at Sussex University and holds a BA in Economics. He is an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers.

Tony joined 3i in 1998 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2010. He is a member of the Private Equity Leadership Team, with responsibility for portfolio monitoring, valuations, operations and the financial management of 3i’s international Private Equity business.
Outside 3i, Tony is a member of the International Private Equity Valuations (IPEV) Board; Invest Europe's Professional Standards Committee; and the Private Equity Reporting Group (PERG), an independent body that reviews transparency and disclosures within the UK Private Equity industry.
Before joining 3i, Tony worked at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Tony has a Geography degree from Loughborough University.

Ian joined 3i in 1987 and became a Partner in 1994 prior to its IPO on the London Stock Exchange. Currently based in London, having previously been based in Paris, he is an experienced investor and Board member across three continents, business types and sectors including Industrials, Healthcare and Business & Technology Services.
In his current role as Managing Partner, Asset Management, Ian is involved in investing and asset management activity across 3i Private Equity and Infrastructure.
His current board seats on a number of leading, international companies include: AESSEAL (seals for rotating equipment), Cirtec Medical (medical device outsourcing) and Tato Holdings (biocides and specialty chemicals). Ian is also a Director of 3i Infrastructure plc, the FTSE250 listed long-term investor in infrastructure businesses and assets, and an NXD of BSI Group, the global standards and services company driving company excellence and resilience.
Ian is a member of the 3i Group Investment Committee.
Prior to his current role, Ian led 3i’s Technology business in Europe having invested in areas including security software (Sophos), artificial intelligence (Searchspace), mobile technology (Nujira).
Ian graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Birmingham. Prior to 3i, Ian worked as an Engineer for BOC Specialty Gases in the UK supplying the medical, semi-conductor and space research sectors.

Rahul Lulla joined 3i in 2012 as a member of the North American Private Equity team.
Rahul focuses on Business & Technology Services, Healthcare and Industrial and has been involved in 3i’s investments in Mold-Masters, Quintiles, TouchTunes, Q Holdings, Dynatect Manufacturing and I.C.E. He currently sits on the Boards of Dynatect Manufacturing and I.C.E.
Previously, Rahul worked at Monitor Clipper Partners in Boston, where he focused on investments in business services and consumer. Prior to this, Rahul worked at Credit Suisse in New York where he was a member of the Investment Banking Division’s Healthcare Group.
Rahul received a BA in Economics and Mathematics with Honors from Vassar College, and an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School.

Jonas joined 3i in 2019 and is an Associate in the French Private Equity team.
Prior to joining 3i, Jonas was part of Rothschild & Co’s Private Equity arm in Paris where he worked on several investments across developed and emerging markets. He also completed internships in the Global Advisory team at Rothschild & Co and in the Private Equity team at Ardian.
Jonas holds an MSc in Management from ESSEC Business School.

Severin joined 3i in 2014 and is an Associate Director in the German Private Equity team. He covers the healthcare sector for German-speaking Europe.
He was a deal team member on 3i’s investments in Christ and Formel D. As a core member of the deal team, he led the successful sale of ATESTEO, the leading independent provider for drivetrain testing services.
Before joining 3i, Severin spent two years at UBS Investment Bank covering the German-speaking region. He also worked as Business Development Manager for a portfolio company of HAL Investments, which is active in the sale of medical aids.
Severin graduated with a CEMS Master in International Management from the Rotterdam School of Management (the Netherlands) and HEC Paris (France).

Joy heads up 3i's Business Leaders Network. She works across sectors and geographies to build strategic relationships and enable international connectivity with Board level executives and non-executive directors for 3i's existing portfolio of assets and pipeline investment opportunities.
Prior to joining 3i, Joy worked as an Executive Search Consultant at private equity specialist search firm, Skillcapital, placing board level management for private equity portfolio companies and senior advisers pre-deal. Previously, Joy spent five years working at Goldman Sachs in the Private Wealth Management division, with a focus on investment strategy. She holds a first class honours Masters degree in Quantitative Finance from University College Dublin.

Since joining 3i in 2016, Marc's investment track record includes 3i's current investments in Evernex (a global provider of maintenance services for critical IT infrastructure), Havea (a European leader in the natural consumer healthcare industry) and Weener Plastics (a manufacturer of innovative plastics packaging systems for FMCGs), as well as the past investment in Etanco (a manufacturer and distributor of fasteners). He represents 3i as an observer on the boards of Evernex and Havea.
Marc began his career in Financial Advisory at Lazard, spending four years in the Paris team where he was involved in French and cross-border transactions in the consumer, industrial and health sectors. He then assisted large corporates and European SMEs in their M&A strategy in Latin America during his time at Euro Latina Finance, an advisory boutique specialising in the region.
Marc holds an MSc in Management from EM LYON Business School.

Drew joined 3i in 2019 as a member of its North American Private Equity team based in New York. He primarily focuses on the Industrial and Business & Technology Services sectors and has been involved in 3i's investment in JMJ Associates.
Prior to joining 3i, Drew was a Vice President at The Carlyle Group, where he evaluated and executed a broad range of middle market buyout transactions with a focus on the industrial, transportation & logistics, and business services sectors. Previously, Drew worked as an Associate at Aurora Capital Group, focusing on middle market buyout transactions across diverse industries. He began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance transactions in the technology, media, and telecommunications sectors.
Drew received his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA cum laude in mathematical economics and international relations from Pomona College.

Andrew Olinick joined 3i in 2007 and is co-Head of 3i’s North America Private Equity team and the Global Head of Business & Technology Services. Andrew has played a key role in 3i’s investments in Magnitude Software, International Cruise and Excursions, Inc. (ICE), Element, JMJ Associates and TouchTunes. He currently sits on the boards of JMJ Associates, ICE and Magnitude.
Prior to joining 3i, Andrew was an Associate at VSS, where he focused on the media, business services and education sectors. Prior to joining VSS, Andrew was an Associate at ZelnickMedia, a media-focused private equity firm.
Andrew received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BS from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Before joining 3i, Justin was a Commercial Project Manager at Coolblue in Rotterdam, and prior to this worked as a Consultant at McKinsey & Company in Amsterdam.
He holds a BSc in Economics and Business Economics from Utrecht University, and a MSc in Corporate Finance and Banking from Duisenberg School of Finance, Amsterdam.

Nikhil joined 3i in 2016 in the New York office and is a member of 3i's Healthcare sector coverage team. He participates in all elements of the investment process, including industry segment analysis, identification and screening of new opportunities, due diligence, transaction structuring, financing and execution. He currently sits on the Boards of Q Holding and Cirtec Medical.
Prior to joining 3i, Nikhil was a Vice President at Chicago Pacific Founders, where he was an integral member of a debut middle market private equity fund and participated in the acquisition of three portfolio companies. Prior to joining CPF, Nikhil was a Senior Associate at Water Street Healthcare Partners, a mid-market private equity firm with approximately $2 billion of capital under management. While at Water Street, he helped execute a number of platform investments and successful portfolio company exits. Nikhil was previously an Analyst in the Global Healthcare Investment Banking division of UBS Investment Bank.
Nikhil graduated from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business with Honors.

Bastiaan Peer is a Director in the Benelux Private Equity team.
He is a deal team member for Basic-Fit (European value-for-money fitness chain), BoConcept (global furniture brand) and Royal Sanders (producer of personal care products). He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Royal Sanders. Previously, Bastiaan served on the Board of Directors of Kinolt (supplier of Dynamic UPS systems) and was an Observer on the Boards of Azelis (a pan-European specialty chemicals distribution company) and BoConcept.
Prior to joining 3i, Bastiaan worked in the Benelux Investment Banking team at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Amsterdam.
He holds a Masters degree in Financial Economics and a Masters degree in Financial Law from the Erasmus University, Rotterdam.

Prior to joining 3i, Richard was a Principal at Halyard Capital, where he invested in companies in the media, business services and communications sectors. Prior to joining Halyard, Richard was an Associate at Entrade, where he invested in technology and internet infrastructure businesses.
Richard began his career at Security Capital's Preferred Growth Private Equity fund.
He is actively involved in several non-profit organisations and is the Chairman of the New York Private Equity Network. Richard received a BA in Economics from Williams College.
