John is Director, Group Compliance and is responsible for regulatory compliance at 3i. He joined 3i’s in-house legal team in 1997, providing wide-ranging legal support to 3i’s investment and corporate activities worldwide until he took over responsibility for the compliance function in 2010.
Prior to joining 3i, he worked as a solicitor in private practice and remains admitted to practice as a solicitor in England and Wales.
John is also a member of the BVCA’s Regulatory Committee and has represented that Committee on the board of the Joint Money Laundering Steering Group.

Leo is a Senior Associate in 3i’s Private Equity team in London.
Prior to joining 3i, Leo worked in private equity at Core Equity Holdings and spent five years in strategy consulting with The Boston Consulting Group. During this time he covered a range of sectors and spent multiple years working and living in the US, Europe, China and the Middle East.
Leo holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School as well as a BA in Economics and Statistics from Swarthmore College.

Anna Dellis joined the Infrastructure team in 2006 and became a partner in 2018. Since then she leads asset management for the portfolio of economic infrastructure investment held in funds 3i Infrastructure plc and 3i Managed Infrastructure Acquisitions Limited. This role includes oversight of portfolio company performance; recruitment of board members and senior executives for portfolio companies; and delivery of cross-portfolio initiatives to protect and grow value.
Anna has direct investment experience across a number of sectors including oil storage (Oystercatcher); utilities (Elenia and ESP) and transport (Eversholt and BCA). Currently she represents Oystercatcher on the board of Advario Singapore Limited. Since August 2022 she is responsible for the team’s investment in DNS:NET which is rolling out fibre-to-the-home in the Berlin vicinity.
Prior to joining 3i Anna qualified as a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW) and advised on infrastructure finance at PricewaterhouseCoopers. She has a degree in German and French from the University of Nottingham.

Adrien is a Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London and joined in September 2015. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals in the infrastructure sector.
He is currently involved in TCR and Valorem.
Prior to joining 3i, Adrien worked in the investment banking division of Société Générale, advising on Financial Institution Group transactions.
Adrien graduated from the Ecole Polytechnique.

Responsible for 3i’s legal, compliance, internal audit, and company secretarial functions. A member of the Executive Committee since joining 3i in 2007.
Prior to joining 3i, was a Senior Managing Director, running GE’s European Leveraged Finance business after serving as European General Counsel for GE. Prior to GE, was a partner at the law firms Travers Smith and Latham & Watkins.

Jennifer is the Partner heading the Fund Investor Relations team.
Prior to this, Jennifer was a Partner in the UK Buyouts team and Head of Consumer in the UK. Since joining 3i in June 2005 she co-led 3i’s investment in Mayborn and co-led the take privates of Telecity Group and Redbus to create TelecityRedbus. In November 2007 she was responsible for 3i’s investment in Agent Provocateur.
Prior to joining 3i, Jennifer spent nine years at Terra Firma Capital Partners and Nomura’s Principal Finance Group (PFG), where she was Managing Director. In addition to numerous portfolio responsibilities, major deals that she led there include the privatisation of Angel Train Contracts and the acquisition of Inn Partnership. Jennifer started her career as a solicitor for Allen, Allen & Hemsley in Sydney and London.
Jennifer holds a BA degree and LLB from the University of Sydney. She is a Director of 3i Infrastructure plc, the FTSE250 listed long-term investor in infrastructure businesses and assets, a Co-Founder and past Chair of Level 20, an initiative to support women in private equity, and a Trustee of The Fred Hollows Foundation (UK).

Sasha is a Senior Associate in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London, having joined in 2022. She supports the identification, prioritisation and delivery of sustainability-related workstreams and initiatives for 3i's Infrastructure business line, its funds and portfolio companies.
Sasha previously spent six years in the Strategy& Deals team at PwC, working on a variety of due diligence and strategy projects for clients in the Industrial and Energy sectors. She has a PhD in Chemistry from Cambridge University, having previously studied Biochemistry at the University of Oxford.

Matt is a Director in 3i's Infrastructure team in London and joined in January 2017. He is primarily responsible for the asset management of infrastructure and energy projects in the UK and continental Europe. Matt also leads on a number of value enhancement strategies as well as evaluating and executing selected investment opportunities.
Previously Matt was an Investment Director at Innisfree Limited where he was responsible for asset management of operational infrastructure projects and led on a number of secondary PPP acquisitions.
Matt holds a first class honours degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of Nottingham and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Nuno joined 3i in June 2022 and is a Senior Associate in the Infrastructure team based in London. He is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of deals and the management of assets across the economic infrastructure space.
Prior to joining 3i, Nuno was an Associate in the Infrastructure team at Gingko Tree Investment Ltd in London where he focused on deal origination and execution, and asset management.
Nuno holds a MSc in Banking and Finance from Queen Mary University of London and a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon.

Thomas is Investor Relations Partner for 3i Group’s Infrastructure business and joined in February 2016. He is responsible for interacting with the limited partners and public shareholders across 3i Group’s infrastructure funds as well as managing any new fundraising and co-investment opportunities.
Prior to joining 3i, Thomas worked in the private placement team at HSBC, where he advised General Partners on fundraising in Europe and Asia. Thomas started his career at Lehman Brothers where he focused on private placements and fundraising for alternative investment funds.
Thomas holds a Master in Finance and Business Administration from HEC, Paris.

Rupert is a Partner based in London. He co-heads the UK PE team, leads the consumer team and sits on the board of MPM.
Rupert joined 3i in 2018 prior to which he was a Director in the Consumer, Retail and Leisure team at Rothschild in London. He brings 12 years’ experience advising both public and private companies on transactions across the UK and Europe.
Rupert graduated with a BA from Durham University.

Sophia is ESG & Sustainability Director within 3i’s Private Equity business, with responsibility for leading the consideration of ESG matters through the investment lifecycle, defining the team’s ESG strategy, and providing support to portfolio companies across Europe and North America. Sophia is also a member of the 3i Group ESG Committee.
Sophia previously spent 11 years in 3i’s Fund Investor Relations team, having joined 3i in 2011. She holds an honours degree in History from the University of Durham, and a certificate in Business Sustainability Management from the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (“CISL”).

Laura is an Associate Director in 3i’s Infrastructure team in London and joined 3i in August 2017. She is primarily responsible for the origination and execution of transactions in the infrastructure sector.
Prior to joining 3i, Laura worked in the investment banking divisions of Evercore and J.P. Morgan in London and Frankfurt advising on Infrastructure, Transport and Energy transactions.
Laura holds a MSc in International Business from Maastricht University, Netherlands and Queen’s University, Canada and a Master of European Studies from TU Berlin, Germany.

Charlie is an Associate Director in the UK Private Equity team.
Charlie has been involved in a number of 3i investments, including Sussex-based Aspen Pumps, Digital Barriers, a leading provider of IoVT surveillance and security products and Audley Travel, the leading provider of tailor-made travel. Charlie is currently a board member of Audley Travel.
Prior to joining 3i in 2019, Charlie worked in the Industrial group at Evercore, advising clients on M&A and restructurings.
Charlie graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in Economics.

Anil joined 3i in 2007 and is the Partner responsible for 3i's Banking & Risk Team within the Private Equity division. Anil and his team have worked on comprehensive transactions across 3i’s international platform including Scandlines, Mayborn, Norma, Xellia, Civica, Memora, Refresco, Action, Hilite, Amor, GEKA, Christ, WP, ATESTEO, Havea, Luqom, Formel D, Evernex, MPM and xSuite. In addition to the Debt Capital Markets activities of the team, Anil sits on the Partner Review Panel and also acts as a Second Partner on new transactions evaluated by 3i Private Equity.
Anil has over 27 years of experience, having started at Lloyds Bank Corporate Banking in 1995. Anil subsequently worked for Dresdner Kleinwort from 1999, where he held various positions in Credit Risk Management, Structured Finance and Corporate Finance & Advisory, completing landmark transactions across a wide range of geographies, sectors and financing structures.
Anil studied at Sussex University and holds a BA in Economics. He is an Associate Member of Corporate Treasurers.

Kathryn is Group Communications Director. She is responsible for corporate reputation, media relations, internal communications, digital communications and charitable partnerships.
Kathryn oversees the communication of 3i’s financial calendar activity and its international communications, which involves managing a network of PR agencies across 3 continents. During her career at 3i, she has advised its private equity, infrastructure and debt management business lines and has worked across all its geographies.
Kathryn previously spent 5 years at Biddicks, a consultancy which specialised in providing financial PR advice to small and mid-cap, publicly quoted companies.
Kathryn has a degree in English law and European law from London university.
